Costs that are borne by the fund itself (and thus shared among investors), as opposed to costs borne by the GP personally. Common fund expenses include legal fees, audit fees, due diligence costs, regulatory filing fees, and custody fees. The fund agreement defines which expenses are properly chargeable to the fund.
